Recover Lost Data

Friday, I had my SAN crash. We lost the data.  Fortunatly, I had a backup, however, I'm still missing things that I though were being backed up.  Is there anyway to recover this data?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Depending on the level of the crash you could need to contact special service for data recovery and it costs $$$$.
is the LUN available after the crash? What is the status of the SAN now? Online, all LUNs available?
If yes, then try the simplest way - scan the LUN volume (which Windows sees as disk) with GetDataBack www.runtime.org
There is a little hope that recovery can work this way.

I rebuilt it and restored what I had.  For whatever reason I'm missing 2 folders

If you rebuilt it and wrote data over it then forget these two folders. Still you can scan it with get data back but really the chances are equal to 0. Unfortunately.
