Remote Desktop License Server doesn't exist

A fresh install of Remote Desktop on Windows 2012 Server R2, and I get to the License Server portion of the Remote Desktop install and there are no servers to select for the RD Licensing Role?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Did you tried to add manually? if not then try to add manually and check. Also make sure you have configure the license serer too on your environment.

I think thats the step I'm missing- as to how to configure a license server in my environment? The steps below are what I have done, but when I specify the terminal server as the license server it tells me it already exists. Yet, when I go to add a License server, no servers show in the list?

Open Server Manager.
Navigate to the Remote Desktop Services navigation area.
Select the Overview branch.
Under the Deployment Overview area, select Edit Deployment Properties from the Tasks menu.
Select the RD Licensing page of the displayed dialog.
Specify the licensing mode and the license server, then click OK.

any suggestions on how to get the server to show up in license server role?

What I'm hearing: You've already installed the appropriate version of license server, and are going through the tool to configure your environment.  When you attempt to select the license server, it doesn't give you the option of specifying the License server.

I assume you've already added the license server to the Server Pool on the Connection Broker Server.  Do you have anything blocking necessary ports to/from the license server?
