Windows Server 2012R2 Essentials - in IE, clicking on login on Experts-exchange doesn't work

By the way, I am expecting to ask loads of questions all about this server.  So watch this topic for loads of questions that are likely softballs : )

I am building a test build of Windows Server 2012R2 Essentials (the one that is just Essentials out of the box... is that the right name for that SKU?).

Needing help with things, I want to go here!  type in http://www.experts-exchange.com click on login and nothing happens.  I load chrome, go to the same website, click on login and get the login screen.

What's up with that?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Most likely it's because Internet Explorer Enhanced Security is turned on.

When you installed Chrome on your server, it bypasses this security.

Here is some information on it and how to turn it off.

You can do this on a test server, but you wouldn't want to do it on a production server.
