checkpoint FW firmware

Hi;
We have some old checkpoint FWs lying around and were told that the firmware is old. We need to update the firmware, is it possible to do it? Is there a website from where we can obtain the latest firmware? Please let us know the steps if you know? We like to do it w/o paying for it, if possible.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

After a hard reset, the Primary flash memory is erased and Backup is loaded into it.
When installing a firmware over TFTP protocol, both Primary flash memory and Backup flash memory are erased, and the given firmware is installed.

Installing a firmware via Edge GUI / Check Point SmartUpdate upgrades only the Primary firmware located in the Primary flash memory.
