Access - get first of ID query

Hello

I have an Access table, that has the following fields:

1. Date
2. Location
3. Name
4. ID
5. Event
6. Email

I would like to remove multiple rows for the same ID by running a query that only takes the First instance that ID appears in the table.

I have created a select query, with sum, so I group on all other fields, and ID I indicate the criteria as First.

However, this is not working.

Please advise.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

First is just "some". Use Min(ID) to obtain the first ID.
