Outlook 2013 drag and drop or moving

When my client move or drag and drop an email from the inbox to a folder the email does not remove itself from the inbox.  I have tested this on other boxes and it works fine.  Is there a setting for this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There is no setting in Outlook for Windows drag and drop operations.

Try it yourself on the problem machine because the user may not be doing it correctly.

If no, then make a new, test Windows User Profile (Account). Log into the new Windows Account and try drag and drop in Outlook in the new account.

Can we ensure Office 2013 SP1 is installed? all relevant updates too.

Try recreating a profile too like John says.

It is most likely the Outlook profile that is acting up.

Try creating a new Outlook profile first and see if the same things happens.

Also try Outlook in safe mode (outlook.exe /safe).
