Sccm 2012 client causing systems to hang and freeze at times

I have a few folks saying that their systems are hanging and freezing at times. I uninstalled the sccm client and the issues stopped. Installed the client and the issues started again.

So I;m not to sure how to troubleshoot this. We are running client version 5.00.7958.1000. Not sure if there is a newer client out that I can try. Searched , but cannot find a download for it.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot?

We ended up reimaging the system. Looks like it was related to the WMI process.
