I believe you are using the account with which SharePoint was installed and thus, you are the site administrator. &nbsp;Logged on as site administrator, go to site actions, site settings and under users and groups, assign users with required privileges. &nbsp;Refer to following link even though it is for SharePoint 2013 but it is relevant:<br />
