sharepoint 2010

Hi,

We just installed sharepoint 2010 on a windows 2008 64 bit, for this site http://sp2010:22221/default.aspx I can log in with my domain\administrator account, however I want to use another account to access this site, how can I change this?

any help would be appreciated.

I believe you are using the account with which SharePoint was installed and thus, you are the site administrator.  Logged on as site administrator, go to site actions, site settings and under users and groups, assign users with required privileges.  Refer to following link even though it is for SharePoint 2013 but it is relevant:

Hi Mohit,

I tried changing the service account for the server farm to another server account however I am getting an error message "service unavailable. http error 505. the service is unavailable"

I cannot log into the central administration again.
any help would be appreciated.
