Currently using older server running Windows 2003 Standard Edition Service Pack 2. Needing to move this application to another server, but can't find specs from vendor.<br />

Does anyone have server spec information on what this app can function in? &nbsp;We are looking at VM with OS 2008 or 2012, but want to make sure we don't over spec based on the version we are using.<br />
<br />
Any insight about this or where I can get documentation would be great. Old environment, therefore not successful in finding our documentation and our software is on this server.<br />

Servers are computing devices that are similar to desktop computers in that they have the same basic components, but are significantly different in size, configuration and purpose. Windows Server 2012 is the server version of Windows 8 and the successor to Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Server 2012 is the first version of Windows Server to have no support for Itanium-based computers since Windows NT 4.0. Windows Server 2012, now in its second release (Windows Server 2012 Release 2) includes Foundation, Essentials, Standard and Datacenter, and does not support IA-32 or IA-64 processors.
