Windows 8.1 RDP Config for credentials not working

On two stand alone Win 8.1 pc's in a remote office, I setup RDP to the terminal server at the main office. I checked the box that says Always Ask for Credential, but it saved the password.

I need the RDP access secured. Is there a registry setting to always make it ask for a password?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Look in Control Panel, Credential Manager and see if the user name / password is saved there. Delete the entry or entries in Credential Manager.

Now go to Remote Desktop, pull down the options, check "Always ask for Credentials"  and then after this has been checked, try logging in again. Do the credentials still get saved?
