Use these commands:

enable
configure terminal
username <username> password secret5

or if it's set for MD5

enable
configure terminal
username <username> secret secret5

Change <username> to the actual username

This is just addition to previous from netcmh - If user have some privilege level assigned to account

username <username> privilege 1 secret <password>

Check in config how account is already created and copy paste all - just add new password :)

You should issue
username name privilege 15 secret <password>
if you issue
username name privilege 15 secret 5 <password>
5 in this means after this number 5 comes ALREADY encrypted password

let's say that username and password are cisco
this two have the same result
username cisco privilege 15 secret cisco
username cisco privilege 15 secret 5 $1$AR6W$VDiqVEES6agyEv8nI63Uc.
secret cisco =  secret 5 $1$AR6W$VDiqVEES6agyEv8nI63Uc.

or
