Failed DC Diag connectivity on Server 2012

Installed new Server 2012 STD onto a domain with a single 2003 server. Promoted to DC. Went to move the roles and hit a wall.  DCDiag shows below.  Any suggestions???

This is clearly something blocking communication like a Firewall as it has stated in the log. Also make sure that the DC actually promoted successfully. Check your logs as well to see if you can see if there are any other issues.

If the promotion did not complete successfully then you might want to demote and re-promote the 2012 DC again.

It appears that you have 2 network adapters on this domain controller. This is not a good practice and this is probably what is causing the issue. When you have 2 physical/logical separate Network Adapters you can only have one network adapter with a Default Gateway.

Because this is a DC and probably also has DNS as a role as well (by default) DNS will listen on both adapters by default. You will need to go into the DNS console and change the listening IP's it listens on.

Personally i would just remove the second network adapter if there is no use for it.

The Directory Service Logs on the Domain Controller will show you the logs for the promotion.
