LSI_SCSI error. The Driver detected a controller error on \Device\Raidport1

One of our customers server is running slow and almost unreachable remotely.
This error keeps coming up in event viewer and I did research it.
All the drivers are up to date and the firmware.

I'm guessing its a hardware failure?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes, I would check the health of the RAID first.
Then check if the any of the hard disk is failing.

If either of these have no issues, check if the firmware of the hard disks are upto date.

Which brand of server do you have?
