Windows 8.1 clients - UAC - windows 2008 R2 domain

Hi there,
After 14 days finally I was able to disable UAC via Group policy by following my own question:

policy.html

Was really happy till I found the users cannot open the 8.1 store now or any app while opening up says 'This app can't open, Turn on UAC'.
Is there a way to have UAC disabled but still use apps/app store in 8.1?.  would like to control via group policy.

You have to have UAC enabled to use the Microsoft Store. No way around that.

It is also a bad idea to disable UAC at all. It invites serious damage when people visit dodgy sites (which lots do).

So you need to re-enable UAC.

The users should be STANDARD users and not ADMINISTRATORS unless you like reinstalling the O/S on a regular basis.. There is NO way around the requirement for UAC being enabled to access windows store apps. This is for your protection as the store apps come from 3rd parties and either a deliberate backdoor or inadvertent coding error could expose your machine unless UAC virtualization is used which sandboxes the applications.
