Excel 2013 Pivot Chart

Hi Experts,

I am creating a pie chart from a pivot table and every time I change a filter the format of the pie chart changes. (ie the colors of the pie change)  I want to be able to maintain the formatting.   I need for the slices to remain Red Yellow And Green.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I can't reproduce the issue. The attached pie chart from a pivot table retains its colors. Can you upload a sample that shows the problem you describe?

cheers, teylyn

It will retain the original format but if you change the colors from what it produces that is when the problem seems to occur
