I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

When did the user last visit the sites? Browser history of the user might be more effective than Search.

how can i check that?
Jamie McAllister MVPSharePoint ConsultantCommented:
Visit the user, open the browser they use.

In Internet Explorer, click the star button, then the history tab. Find the site they think they lost and see if it is still there really.

(Sometimes the changed name of a view can make users think a site is lost, check that too)
