By the way, I used Thunderbird as the default mail program, but is there a way to make the program only open an outgoing email window without opening my inbox as well? &nbsp;For example, if I'm only sending a recently scanned document, I don't need the entire program opening as well.

Have a client that uses Gmail and wants to be able to use her scanning software to send emails through Gmail. &nbsp;The scanning software is the Brother Control Center 4 and it does accept a default mail program, but is there a way to make it Gmail?<br />

An email client, email reader or more formally mail user agent (MUA) is a computer program in the category of groupware environments used to access and manage a user's email.
