Looking for software to move e-mail Outlook 2007 to another computer?

I am looking for software that will allow me to copy everything from one version of Outlook 2007 to another computer.
Any suggestions?

You do not need any software. All of Outlook is in one PST file (plus any Archives).

Close Outlook and copy the PST files to the other computer. That is all you need to do.

On the new computer, open Outlook, set up your account and then you can import the mail from the PST you copied over.

It is really very easy and I have done this a lot over the years.

Hi cd player,

If the other computer also has Outlook, just the PST or OST file will contain all messages/calendar items etc.
Just import them on the new system.
Or is it something else you're looking for?

John, were are the PST files located?
What do you mean when you say "set up your account "?
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
On your old computer, open Outlook, look in Outlook Accounts and look for the Data File tab. The information in there will tell you where the Outlook PST files.

For Outlook 2007, the files are normally in the User folder in a Microsoft folder called Outlook. This changes for Outlook 2010 and later. Look in the Data File tab to be certain.

When I say set up an account, I mean set up the Email address. When you set this up, you make an account and a new PST file will be create. That is why you then import from the old file. There are other ways, but Import is the easiest to understand.

There is added information in the link provided above.

The key thing when you move an Outlook PST and Import it to a new computer is to keep a backup copy. That allows you to correct an error and start again.
