Wi-Fi Setup

I am moving into a new house, and will have Cable Internet Service.  I run three separate PC's (Windows 7) as well as our and our visitors' iPhones, iPads, etc.  What is the best wireless router to use to give us the best coverage and flexible security?

Thanks,

Philip Simmons

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The house has two levels, each about 1400 square feet, plus a relatively small back yard that we would like covered as well.  It sounds like the Linksys is your favorite (cost notwithstanding), right?  Someone else suggested an Apple Extreme (I'm generally not a great fan of Apple), which I noticed wasn't on your list.  Is that because I'm a PC user?

Thank you!
