Use OffsetActiveCell to Select a range

If I am using: ActiveCell.Offset(-1, 0).Select  to select the row above active cell.  How would I write this to Select the active cell and the cell above it??  as a range.  Then while that range is selected and I do my thing, select the cell to right of the top cell in the range?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

pls try

ActiveCell.Offset(-1, 0).Resize(2).Select
ActiveCell.Offset(-1, 1).Select

Ok thanks that worked... however now that it is selected, how do (after I perform steps on that range) get to the next cell??  After this: ActiveCell.Offset(-2, 1).Select      is now failing??  Second half of the question.

pls try

ActiveCell.Offset(-1, 0).Resize(2).Select
then
ActiveCell.Offset(-1, 1).Select

So it selects based on the top of the range and not the bottom.  Correct?
