Database Schema

Hi,
Is it possible to extract a database schema from SQL Server? If yes, how can I get it.

Many Thanks.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. There a set of "Information Schema Views" that can be used to extract meta data about the database.

Also take a look at "Querying the SQL Server System Catalog"

So yes there are ways to get the information, but being a little more specific that just "database schema", what information do you want?

In SQL Management Studio try right click on desired schema, choose Tasks/Generate Scripts.
