Could you explain what it is you are talking about?

You have a HD wireless camera with HDMI out. ...

Make/model of devices used would help clarify what you are trying .
Do you have both a transmitter and a receiver? Or do you only have one component of two.  Usually, you would have a transmitter plugged into the laptop and a receiver connected to the TV using an HDMI feed.
The HDMI port on the laptop is an output not an input.
Is there an option kit that comes with your device
As I cant see it take a look at this video it show a hd av wireless System winstars wireless 5G HD AV Kit.mp4 with the optional kit
also has the own user friendly optional accessory kits which are the 4 in-2 out HDMI Switch and IR Extender,

it is one of these but i want to do hdmi or vga or hdmi mini or hdmi macro or display port.  it that possible and is there a converter box that with change all the above inputs into hdmi?
You have to get the HDMI to whatever you want connecting VGA, HDMI to VGA, DVI, DisplayPort variances.
With HDMI, you should consider looking for active adapters meaning they have an additional power source.

You have to define what you really want to end up with this way you can get all that you need right off the start without sequentially buying additional components.
i.e. HDMI TO HDMI replicator 1 in 4 out than you can use multiple adapters as mentioned above to connect each output to the device you want.
This way whichever device you turn on, it will have the same data coming out of it.
Oh, I have not used the specific one you mentioned, but yes, they work.

so there is not a universal VGA/DP/Mini-hdmi/micro-hdmi to regualar hdmi converter/adapter?
that is the real question.
I do not think there is a universal adapter as you outline it.
you forgot the mini-DP and micro-DP.

The wireless receiver you reference only has an HDMI out
Oh, you are looking for a universal converter to use with your wireless transmitter to the receiver/TV

Certain LAptops have WIDI builtin meaning you can broadcast directly from the laptop/desktop to a compliant TV without any need for additional equipment.
