Load an excel document onto Sharepoint

I am using Excel 2010. I am new to Sharepoint. I need to upload the document on my company corporate Sharepoint Site.
Could some one please suggest the various ways as to how I can import this file onto a specific Sharepoint location.
Let us assume, the Sharepoint site address is
http://domain_or_server/[sites/]Web_Site/Lists/List_Title/AllItems.aspx and within that there is a folder called "Excel_Docs"

If I have a Excel file called "Customers.xlsx", then how can I import that file into "Excel_Docs" folder in
http://domain_or_server/[sites/]Web_Site/Lists/List_Title/AllItems.aspx ? What kind of permissions do I need to give for every one to view?

Please  suggest.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

First off, the AllItems.aspx pages you mention are something called a View. This is a way of viewing the various documents and items in a List or Library.

It sounds to me like you need to upload your Excel sheet to a Library. You'll have some existing ones created already by default with names like "Shared Documents".

Go into the library and click "Add Document" - this will enable you to upload your spreadsheet.

Next you have two options for sharing the spreadsheet. You can send a direct link to people, using the item menu as shown in my screenshot here;

The other thing you can do is more tricky. You can add a web part to a different page to display the Excel sheet on a page as if it were open. (No edits possible, just for display). If that's of any interest I can post instructions.
