But specifically how would I do it in GPO? &nbsp;There is the policy to allow IE users to turn off automatic updates in the help menu, but how would I apply that to only one user?

I have a user on network using a special industrial software that requires internet explorer 10 to be installed. &nbsp;Windows updates are being forced on the computer to install the updated version of IE. &nbsp;The user has to uninstall it every day (because the computer has to stay on). &nbsp;We tried adding registry edits to turn off internet explorer updates but the domain is somehow bypassing this. <br />

So I think my fix should be in active directory. &nbsp;Where can I make one user exempt from updating internet explorer in AD?<br />

Windows updates are being forced on the computer to install the updated version of IE.  The user has to uninstall it every day (because the computer has to stay on).
