We have office 365 in a ADFS enviroment.
Most items work excellent.

Issue is when users access online 365 content, like SharePoint, they get a white web page login asking for their address and password. (see attached)

Single Sign-On should be....well, Single.

That's FBA, which means that you have not configured properly the server and/or clients for true SSO. Make sure that Windows Integrated auth is enabled on the AD FS server, that its FQDN is added to the Local zone in IE and that WIA auth is enabled for that zone. Other browsers will require additional configuration as well.

Here's an example article: http://blogs.technet.com/b/abizerh/archive/2013/04/11/more-information-about-sso-experience-when-authenticating-via-adfs.aspx
This is what worked for us.

On your Federation server.
C:\inetpub\adfs\ls
Web.config doc

<microsoft.identityServer.web>
    <localAuthenticationTypes>
      <add name="Forms" page="FormsSignIn.aspx" />
      <add name="Integrated" page="auth/integrated/" />
       <add name="TlsClient" page="auth/sslclient/" />
      <add name="Basic" page="auth/basic/" />

Move “integrated” from second to first.

IE now skips any other sign-in prompts. Chrome too.
Fox still prompts, but I like it that way.
