New digital certificate from a new provider
Hello All,
My digital certificate for my Exchange 2007 box will expire soon, so I went ahead and purchase a new certificate from another provider. My current certificate was provided by Digicert and the new certificate was purchased from Comodo. I had to complete all the hectic verification process once again, company information, owner of the domain verification, etc.
I finally got my new certificate and I am planning on installing it soon. I understand that the SSL certificate is used for other parties to identify my server to initiate encrypted communication, but my question is, is there any difference or impact of the certificate was renewed using another provider?
Any help on understanding this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
