User was in admin group and now cant connect to Excahnge 2013 with iphone

we have a user that was member of admin group. We kicked him out of this group so he is just a normal user. All users can connect to Exchange with their smartphones. Only this user can´t. I remember to read something about that admins can´t use mobile connect with Exchange 2013 for security reasons.
How can i tell Exchange that this user isn´t an admin anymore ?

Thanks in advance

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Open user properties in Active Directory Users and Computers, open Security tab, Advanced and tick the Inherited permissions. This will re-add the exchange permissions, in particular, Exchange server, to allow it to add/remove ActiveSync devices to the users account.

How long has it been since you took the user out of the group? It might be an AD replication thing that'll sort itself out after (say) ten minutes.
Look in the event logs on the Exchange server, probably the Application log, for warnings from various Exchange event sources.
