SQL logins in SSIS packages. (SQL 2012)

When i save the package with connection strings using SQL login, but when it is called in a SQL job, it complains about not having password. (authentication issue).. I type the password again and the 'remember' checkbox is there. still when it is called from sql job, it is not  helping. i know i can put the password in a config file, but it will not be needed if the password can be kept in the package.

is it is technical no-go to keep the password in the package and later call it in a sql job?

Check the package property ProtectionLevel. If it is set to DontSaveSensive, the password is not kept. If you need to allow multiple people access to maintain the package, use EncryptSensitiveWithPassword and enter a password in the PackagePassword field. This will require anyone attempting to open the package to enter the password.
