"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I suggest you use Lenovo or Kingston memory for your Lenovo machine. I do this.

If you go the memory configuration link on that site and pull down Lenovo, your model is not offered.

It should be PC3-10600 DDR3 SODIMM, 1333MHZ.

Items under this section should be compatible. Ensure that they allow returns before you order:

I generally go to www.crucial.com and use their scanner on the computer to see what they recommend.  I've only had one problem which may apply to you and that was a "server" which was using ECC memory and they didn't sell me the right one the first time around.  Somewhat inconvenient but not a show-stopper.  I've done a lot of computers this way.

Crucial is decent, as is Kingston. But be very wary of generic sites. Commercial ThinkPads are carefully designed and so the memory need to meet the manufacturer's specifications.
