Juno Installation of eclipse not incorporating neither Git nor Find Bugs

I have an issue in general with eclipse and its plug-ins

I have the Juno version of eclipse that is supposed to come packaged with Egit, yet the Git options are  nowhere to be seen in either the perspective or the 'Show View' or 'Open Perspective' options of Eclipse.

The same is true of Findbugs, which I tried to install recently. Its installed, the plugins are there but the FindBugs is not showing under 'Show View' or 'Open Perspective'.

Any one has any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Please note that with some of the eclipse workspaces (not all) I get the following error in the eclipse logs:

log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (Sisu).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.

Just a silly question, I am sure you probably have already done this but just wanted to make sure. When looking in either "Show View" or "Open Perspective" you are then looking in the "Other.." options?

Unfortunately, that stack trace doesn't seem all that useful. But I don't think it will be directly relevant to the problems in question, since those views/perspectives should be available regardless of what projects you have, and that stack trace seems to be specific to a particular project of yours.

Otherwise, all I can offer is... can you try it on a fresh install of Eclipse? Maybe even a later version?

Thanks a fresh download of Juno in addition to reinstalling improved things.  I got access to the git repository but still failed to get the Findbugs. I will try later versions of eclipse as suggested.

That's good. I haven't used FindBugs though so I don't think I will be of much more help. Good luck!
