PHP Array Copy

Hi Experts,

I know that in most languages, if you $array_copy = $array_original both variables will point to the same element, so if you change something in one, it will changed in another.

I am trying to add an element to my copy with the following code, but I am not seeing my new element 'xyz'.

$books_copy = new ArrayObject($books);
        foreach ($books_copy as $copy){
        echo '<pre>';
        echo '</pre><br>';
        echo '<pre>';
        echo '</pre><br>';

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Try adding an &:
foreach ($books_copy as &$copy){
