Recently, we have migrated current sccm 2007, windows server 2003 &nbsp;to new hardware with sccm 2007 and windows server 2008 R2. <br />
<br />
We have migrated all site to new sccm 2007 with same version and we found all settings on new server.<br />
<br />
but the thing is we can not able to update the collection membership. After the site back up restore when we tried to reset site settings using the sccm setup wizard it gives below error.<br />
<br />
&quot;setup has encountered fatal errors: while installating SMS Services&quot;<br />
<br />
Also we have verified the event logs and we found two even ID 1020 error and event ID 7000.<br />
<br />

SCCM 2007 move to new hardware with sccm 2007 same version

Microsoft server applications are those applications developed specifically, but not necessarily exclusively, on the Windows Server platform. Windows Server 2008

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
