Google + Photos SHUTIING DOWN

I develop a weekly / monthly Newsletter which includes photos and videos which i link from google plus.

I setup a email account for the newsletter and contributors of the newsletter send their photos video links to this email address.I am then able to save these photos / videos to the drive and post on google +.

Once i send a post on google plus i can add videos and photos into the one post and give a link to the post. This allowed my followers to view both videos and photos in the one the one post.

Google photos is now shutting down on August 1st

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In my opinion, they are just changing the interface & the apps for managing the service.

Your users should be able to view your previous content as before. For the new content, you will probably have to modify the url of whatever you will be posting. That is what I think.

Until then, I guess it will be wait and watch. For the time being, you should try experimenting with the Photos interface of Google - where they are transitioning just to save yourself from any last minute troubles.
