I normally use a XML IDE like XmlSpy, XmlCopyEditor etc
They have built in XSLT traversal functionality.

If this is a PHP question, you can use built-in PHP functions to test the validity of XML.  Just convert the XML string to a PHP object.

You have some XSLT manipulation capabilities, too.  I have used these some years ago and found them time-consuming  to get right, but I don't think that is a PHP problem - just the design of XML / XSLT

Amazon Web Services

Are you thinking about creating an Amazon Web Services account for your business? Not sure where to start? In this course you’ll get an overview of the history of AWS and take a tour of their user interface.

xmlcopyeditor is free.
xml spy will require a license

not sure if there is a eclipse plugin

you can also create a xslt file and reference it in your xml and open the xml in a browser.
the browser will have a xslt interpreter that will automatically transform your xml once it sees the XSLT instruction.

how to reference xsl in xml?
Please advise with any sample example code
gurpsbassiCommented:
In your xml document you will have:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="myXSLT.xsl"?>
<root>
  <nodeA>
   </nodeA>
 </root>

I've never tried it since never had the need to rely on a online tool.

i like the above tool which works

I would not rely on online transformations when you can do it just as simply offline by opening up the xml in a browser and let the browser do the transformation for you.

Alternatively, use something like saxon and do it from the command line.
