Help with managing posts in WordPress Site

Hello Experts,

I have a WordPress website with 5 menu items in the menu bar. Each menu has its own page associated with it.

I am having trouble in publishing posts. My problem is whenever i create a post, it shows on the home page.

I want to add some posts on a specific page and nowhere else.

I have created a category and applied to the post but this only helps in sorting. How can i add this post on a specific page alone?

Any help is highly appreciated. Any plug-in is available to do this task easily?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Best Regards
Raghav.

Go into the back end of your site and go to Settings | Reading.  You are most likely set to "Show Last X Posts" on the home page.  Switch that option to a Page on your site instead.

Yes, you do this by creating Loops on the specific pages:

But on your front page, it defaults to showing all recent posts unless you make the change I specified.

Hello Jason,

Sorry for late reply.

I read through the doc. I didnt find exactly what i wanted but it gave me some references.

Finally i got one plug-in "List Catagory Views" that did the trick.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Best Regards
Raghav.
