Mobile internet modem with Eternet port
Hi,
Does anyone know of a simple straightforward 3G/4G modem for internet with an etnernet connection.
The world is full of USB modems for mobile internet. There are also lots of modem/routers available.
I am setting up a VPN where I am forced to use a particular IPSec VPN router. Some sites are on mobile 4G Internet though with 4G modem/routers.
I have experimented with some modem routers, but none seem to work with IPSec passthrough to my VPN router.
One of my modem/routers alow bridging to one LAN port but that does not work either. The IP adress gets bridged but standard gateway does not. That is the standard gateway still points to the modem /Routers gateway adress and not to the gateway of the ISP.
So my questio is: Is there a simple straightforward 3G/4G modem out there. I am based in Sweden and I have not been able to find one on the local market.
If such an animal does not exist, I can see that I can disable NAT on one of my Modem routers and maybe make a static route between my modem/router and my VPN router. This route woulld route everything frpm the mobile network to the VPN router, but I am not sure how such a static route would look.
I am getting desperate. Most gratful if anyone can shed some light on the issue.
