IIS: Redirect http to https

Hi,

In IIS we have a vhost host.domain.ext which is bind to https:443,
how do I redirect the same vhost at http:80 to https:443?

IIS Incoming > http://host.domain.ext/ > IIS redirect > https://host.domain.ext/

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

Open IIS>>Sites>>Click the website>>In the right hand side under IIS section double click "HTTP Redirect">>Select "Redirect request to this destination" and enter the location https://host.domain.ext/>>Apply to save the changes.
