I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Where you are seeing these events? You posted a question like this the other day? ,no? Can you provide the event on what server you are getting this from. Also what does your current AD Sites structure look like?

this is the third question you have posted about these AD/Exchange issues
please add the attachment from your second thread to the first one in order to keep all the details in one place instead of opening additional questions with only parts of the issue

IT technician who are working are complaining of windows update ON ANOTHER DC's which are replicating. what is the exact complaint?  Cannot reach Windows Update? Machines not auto-updating? WHAT?
pramod1Author Commented:
we have lot windows 2008 and 2012 servers dispersed across Europe site.

there is site link and each site has its own bridgehead server they are all replicating as per their AD site and services.

No.1 my question was I told to find the root cause of  high LDAP query , some L1 engineers who have worked cited reasons like windows update or back up , or relay queue length was high on some servers so high Ldap query got generated - my questions is how they trigger high ldap query?

No.2-one or more objects pointing to AD deleted objects-what is the root cause for this to happen

my question still is how windows update , or back up on a particular server can cause high LDAP

query
pramod1Author Commented:
can some body tell me exactly what is the exact meaning of "High LDAP Search Time detected. Sustained for 2 minutes - Yellow(>100 milliseconds)."
Seth SimmonsSr. Systems AdministratorCommented:
an ldap search shouldn't take long; it is telling you it is taking too long (2 minutes)
windows update has no reason to do ldap query; highly unlikely a backup would be doing it
exchange does ldap queries all the time which is why i asked in the first thread you opened on this question if the exchange server is in the same AD site as a global catalog
