"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I think that means the link in port 1 is 100MB, not gigabit.

I have just read this and I would agree as it says green means its connected with giga transmission rate.

but I only have 4 switches (all 1gb compatible) plugged into port 1. what could possible cause this to be 100MBPS. the cable?

Dan ignore me I just checked and its a 100mbps switch connected into port 1!

thanks for your help again!
