search for files by part of the file name (WIN7)

When I type in Win7 searchbox, 'exchange', it does not bring up the text file 'expertexchange.txt'
but if i search 'expert', it brings it up.. how does this work?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not sure it is worth wasting your time on this.

However you have to index Windows Search properly for it to find things.  It does find ExpertsExchange on my PC if I search for "exchange".

Here is a tutorial on using Windows Search.

Enter *exchange and that will likely work. No qualifier starts at the beginning which is why you see what you get.
