Memory use is of little utility without understanding/detail of what services/roles tge system has.
Certain application exchange, SQL will consume as much memory as Is Available on the system.
IIS web application that have memory leak will also over time consume as much memory as the system gas until it crashes IIS.

Properties of computer, advanced system settings, pergormance settings, advanced, here you should see the CPU/memory prioritization and swap/page file settings. Windows will have a recommended page file size based on system use.

Hi

You need to check which process \ applications are using more memory. Sometimes there will be bugs  in applications that open files and does not close them etc.. so file handles and memory will be used unnecessarily.

For physical memory changes use WSRM   (Windows System Resource Manager) and select either --maximum committed memory for each processor or -- maximum working set limit for each process, and type a number for the limit (in MB).

Please see memory allocations
