how to power on netapp fas 2240-2 after halt on each controller and plug out

Yesterday I had to power off netapp fas 2240-2. I typed over ssh on each controller halt -f and then plug out the device.

In a couple of hours I had to power on the device. As I understood so far, I had to connect via serial cable and type boot_ontap. What I have not understand is if this must be done on each controller, or only on one controller, or I can boot up the partner controller from the other one?

Thank you!

As long as autoboot is well configured, netapp will boot automatically and no action is needed for ONTAP to booting up.
