Automate attaching PDFs to quickbooks bills, using txnid, vendor name, invoice number

I am developing a process for importing bills into Quickbooks, after the bills are imported I would like to attach PDFs of the bills to the bill. I have ODBC access to QB using QODBc. I am most comfortable with VBA.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would suggest that you check out the Inuit documentation on Attachments.

I don't think this can be done in VBA.

Tony,

Thanks for the advice. I looked at the link, and reviewed it briefly. It appears as if the API has an attachable manager to automate something like what I have, but I would not know where to get started. Also, it appears as if this is for cloud based installs vs. Self Hosted Enterprise Solutions. Are you a developer or would you know of one I could speak with regarding this project.

In a nutshell I have a list of pdf's and a list of invoices in quickbooks. I have all of the data pertaining to the invoice, but do not have the Intuit transaction number

If there is some development work to be done, I would be willing to pay for that.

Any and all help is gratefully accepted.
