One Drive for Business?

Hello,

We have a client that is interested in having all their documents in the cloud. They currently use Office365 and have access to a OneDrive for Business. The client currently has about 60Gigs of files to be migrated. Anyone have any success with using "OneDrive for Business" in a peer to peer network? Or a Small Domain Environment?

Thanks!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

SharePoint Online will do a better job IMO, but you can also dump the documents in a person's OneDrive and share them with the rest of the users. Both products focus on collaboration so both will probably meet your needs, ODFB is intended for personal files however.

Anyway, here's a article with resources for the mgiration: http://blogs.technet.com/b/akieft/archive/2013/09/06/migrating-file-shares-to-skydrive-pro.aspx#pi47623=2

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply, After looking into this we had to just what you said. Build a Sharepoint site with collections. We used the ODFB as a personal drive for the users.

Thanks for the replay and the article was very useful.
