Access 2010: Career questions (2)

Hi EE,

a) What features of A2010 do you love

b) How have you made A2010 easier to work with?
for example:  I put the design and vba buttons in the tool bar
yet if I go to my user's pc and want to debug there, they do not have it in their tool bar so a little frustrating

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I liked many aspects of 2010, but I couldn't point to individual things that stood out. I do like the "Nav Pane Search" feature, which allows me to enter a part of a name, and Access filters the objects to show me the results. I believe that came about in 2007, however.

As far as (b), I've added:

MZTools
Smart Indenter
Total Visual Code Tools

The first two are free, while TVCT is a paid utility from FMS Inc (www.fmsinc.com). Well worth the investment, in my opinion. It's a very power code assistant for the VBA Editor.

I make it a point not to change anything on my client's installations.
