GPO for managing internet explorer has changed and i can no longer make changes

Hi, we have run a load of updates in my company so something must have changed with Active Directory.
I want to make some changes to the GPO object that manages Internet Explorer but when I went there, I can no longer find it (Internet Explorer Maintenance). The GPO object still works with the current changes and shows when I go to the setting tab (as in the screenshot) but when I try browse to that place, it is not there.
I have googled and see there have been some changes but I cannot get my head around it. I tried to edit in the the same GPO object and went to "User Configuration" - "Preferences" - "Control Panel Settings" - "Internet Settings". In there I have the options to create 3 things: Internet Explorer 5 and 6 // Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8. What? Anyway, I tried creating 8 and made the proxy changes etc. but it does not seem to be working.
Can anyone shed some light on what is happening here?
