Problem on Android with website

Hi, My customer has a Galaxy smartphone, with android. When he touches the screen on the site on his phone, it shrinks down to the left to a really skinny screen.  So my questions are:

1. Do you have a phone you can replicate this on? It just would be: go to the site, touch or swipe the screen, and the site will shrink to the left, suddenly taking up only 1/3 of the screen.

2. Can you help me solve this problem?

What browser application is he using? Which Galaxy phone is it? May just be an application error with that particular phone model and application.

I would get the customer to try the website on a different browser program. (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) Sometimes these things are hard to replicate due to possible unique instances going on. But I would try to test the phone at as many unique instances as possible.

I used genymotion ( to create an instance of a Galaxy S5.  When I go to the site above, the browser crashes.  It never finishes playing the banner animation.  I suggest you create a copy of the home page and save it to:

Then on that test page disable the banner completely (just to narrow down the problem) and see if the browser stops crashing.

Ok, thanks for that. I do have some good answers from my client.

1. The phone is a Galaxy Note edge, i have also tried it in Galaxy note 3, galaxy S4 and iphone 5.
2. In all devices the problem appears just in services(, testimonials( and contact( It never happens in home, who we are( and médicos(, even if i use the original browser from those phones or any other browser such as google Chrome, fire fox or photon browser.
3. So my question is, why i am able to see it correct in some pages and incorrect in others?

So I guess that makes the comment by hielo moot, because it doesn't happen on that page. I never knew it was only happening on certain pages. I guess we can all look and see what are the differences on those pages! :)

I am comparing code, and the only real difference is: on who-we-are.html:
<section class="aboutusBtnsCntr clearfix contents" style="background-image:url(/images/watermark2.png);background-repeat: no-repeat;">

and on testimonials.html: <section class="contents">

Would that make the difference? On the first page there is no problem, and on the second page it is doing the skinny thing on touch or swipe.

Hi, I had a pretty bad accident, and I have to sit still, rest and elevate my leg for at least a week, maybe longer. I will look at this later.

My Galaxy S5 using Lollipop had no problem with this site.  I am using the Chrome browser for Android.

Yes and check both the version of the OS and the browser. I imagine that the builtin browser may have more difficulty,  but that is mere speculation. I never used it (except in the store on an S3), and haven't looked back since.

I can't replicate the problem, but I would guess it has something to do with the way in which the site is programmed to recognize the browser/platform.  Problems generally occur when the site uses the user-agent to identify the device that  is accessing it.  

The best way I can test what is going on is by using Opera with User Agent Switcher installed.  I select Note tablet or Galaxy S3 as the user agent to spoof and then access the site.  Using a Dell XPS 12 convertible Laptop, I noticed the following:

1.  Both in tablet mode, and laptop mode the website works fine EXCEPT the Services link does NOT display a dropdown menu but just goes to the main services page
2.  Swiping does nothing except make the window smaller as it is supposed to do when using a windows touchscreen device.

I just retested in tablet mode using the spoofing agent as a Galaxy S3.  There is a definite problem.  It now occurs with all agents.  The page needs to be refreshed or it looks wrong.  Here is a video of what I see on my computer, on my laptop and in tablet view on the laptop.  All are using Opera with User Agent Switcher add-in.

Okay.  The getting smaller can be tested easily.  If there is more than one application open he should see each one in a separate portion of the screen.  Tapping on any one will make it full screen.
