making external css font files local vs pointing to a link.

I am using these two css fonts.  I am concerned if those move or go away my site will mess up.  Is there a way to put these local on the server and point to them that way?

<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Oswald' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

What you are pointing to are stylesheets, not fonts. You can download the font-files, host them on your own server, and implement them in CSS.

The google font website has more information about that.

If you need help generating your own CSS files for the fonts I would look at Font Squirrel's webfont generator

Actually, it turns out an expert here has already made a video tutorial on using custom fonts. Maybe this will be helpful? http://www.experts-exchange.com/videos/329/Using-font-face-in-CSS-to-Embed-Custom-Fonts.html

I tried to play this in I.E. Chrome and Firefox and all give this error.

The video playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the video used features your browser did not support.

You might want to try again in a bit. There was a bug earlier this morning with video playback on EE.

I did still not working.  I am going to close out this question because I have the fonts dowloaded.  I am going t reopen it on server side to see if I can just include on my server directly.

Thank you.
