System Center DataProtection Manager Modify Protection Group is greyed out

I have SCDPM 2012 r2,  I have a protection group protecting a cluster of Hyper-V servers and the VMs they host. One of my users is reporting that one of the servers protected by this policy becomes non-responsive for several minutes each day at the same time.  I noticed in DPM that it is the precise time that the recovery points for that server are being taken.  I tried to modify the protection group and start the recovery point collection later in the day but the option to "Modify protection group" is greyed out

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Jared,

Not sure if you managed to sort this out but simple question, when selecting the protection group to edit are you not perhaps selecting the group member instead of the selecting the whole protection group ?
