Customize Internet Explorer Through GPO

We have Business Applications that end users use. The issue that end users have is for instance:
App1, will run on IE8 only
App2, will run on IE9 only
App3, will run on IE10 only
App4, will run on IE10 Compatibility View mode only.

For now we showed users how to use the IE Developer tools, in order to manually accommodate each Application with each version and flavor of IE.

I would like to know if there are any GPO Settings that configure that instead of having end users switch between IE versions and flavors each time they open an application.

Thank you

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. You can only Enable or Disable the Developer Tools in Group Policy. You can either use the REG Key or GPO setting. The below link outlines where this setting is located.

I am not looking for disabling Developer Tools....
Manually with Developer Tools you can switch between versions of IE for each website.

For instance how do I set up GPO so that when Web App1 is run by user IE10 will open up
if app2 is run IE9 will open up..and so on
